The First Act Of Kindness

The World Goodness Association established to provide both material and moral support to individuals in need and street animals, has completed its establishment process and carried out its first “good deed” activity. 

As an association formed by a group of volunteers with a passion for helping others, we aim to use the donations we collect to support those in need. 

In line with this mission, the first donations were raised by our association president and businesswoman, Ms. Menekşe Kankavi. These donations were used to support Derya Aytaç, a first-year student at Celal Aras High School, who lives in Beykoz with a disabled family. Under the guidance of our founding member and person responsible for individuals with disabilities, Mr. Hasan Polat, a laptop and furniture unit for Derya’s room were purchased and delivered. 

Derya Aytaç, expressing her gratitude for the assistance, shared her educational progress. In her speech, the President of the Association, Menekşe Kankavi, said, “Today, we made our first official donation. We passed over our helping hand to Derya Aytaç, following her request. Although our association is very new, we have a highly experienced and equipped management team. We will pass over our hand to help everyone in need, first with love and then with respect. In defiance of the bad people in the world, we will show everyone that good people do exist.”
