“There is Goodness in the World Association” celebrated its first anniversary last night with a magnificent night at SVADBA MAÇKA, where the Association’s Founding Member and Master Artist Yılmaz Morgül came from his sick bed to perform.

The evening, chaired by businesswoman Menekşe Kankavi and hosted by the board of directors, including Vice President Hakim Seval Karataş, the association's EU representative Ceren Kankıran, accounting member Attorney Ömer Faik Çetiner, and the association's general secretary Arif Işık, was attended by numerous guests with the ongoing support of Sel Logistics.

 

Prominent figures from the art, society and business world showed interest in the celebration and award ceremony night, organized by Atilla Kaplakarslan, the association's general coordinator and Vizyon Production co-founder, hosted by İshak Akbay and featuring red carpet interviews by Ecrin Saygın, the 7th Queen of Cinema.

 

Among the names receiving awards at the night were Gönül Yazar, Salih Güney, Coşkun Sabah, Volkan Severcan, Burhan Şeşen, Gökhan Şeşen, Hilal Özdemir, Ömür Gedik, Ferman Toprak, 1996 Miss Turkey Sevilay Öztürk, businessman Vedat Uğurlu, News Anchor Gülden Kalecik Demirtaş and Vahe Kılıçkarslan, Engin Koç and Yusuf Azuz.

 

At the night where awards were given in various categories, Gönül Yazar, Salih Güney, Volkan Severcan, Burhan Şeşen, Gökhan Şeşen and Hilal Özdemir were given Lifetime Career and Honor Awards.

 

During the evening where the Most Successful Businessman of the Year Award was selected to Loris Parfüm Chairman of the Board Fehmi Okuyucu, the famous auctioneer Uğur Batur auctioned a gold-framed ATATÜRK painting for the benefit of the "World of Goodness Association"; Kadriye Olgar purchased a bronze ATATÜRK statue for the benefit of the "Haçiko" association; and Semih Hot, owner of SVADBA MAÇKA, purchased a Piri Reis map. Enis Candemir, coordinator of SEL LOJİSTİK, who received the Best Logistics Company of the Year Award, purchased two paintings at the auction; and Semih Hot, a partner of SVADBA MAÇKA, who opened its doors to the association free of charge, supported the association by purchasing the PİRİ REİS MAP.
