The World Goodness Association, which recently celebrated its first anniversary, has allocated a portion of the proceeds from its anniversary gala to support children in need.
With the funds raised during the event—featuring performances by prominent artists—the association’s board members provided winter tracksuit sets to twenty-six girls and twenty-three boys at BEYMER (Beykoz Accessible Life Center), a facility operated by the Beykoz Municipality to offer educational and healthcare services to disadvantaged children and young people.
Established about a year ago by a group of philanthropists, including renowned artist Yılmaz Morgül, the World Goodness Association continues to expand its charitable initiatives. The anniversary gala brought together several distinguished names—among them Gönül Yazar, Salih Güney, Coşkun Sabah, Volkan Severcan, Ferman Toprak, Burhan Şeşen, Gökhan Şeşen, Vahe Kılıçarslan, Ömür Gedik, and Hilal Özdemir—who came together to support the association’s mission.
A portion of the funds generated from this meaningful night was directed to children and young people in need. During the event held at BEYMER, Association President Menekşe Kankavi emphasized the significance of the occasion, stating:
“Recently, we celebrated the first anniversary of our World Goodness Association with the participation of our founding member Yılmaz Morgül and esteemed artists. Today, we are delighted to bring joy to the children here with a portion of the proceeds from that night. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the artists who supported us, on behalf of the children as well.”
BEYMER Coordinator and Child Development Specialist, Uzm. Pınar Gürpınar, also highlighted the importance and positive impact of such activities for the children.
