As the World Goodness Association, we continue our acts of kindness in Istanbul despite the extreme heat.
Founded just last year, our association has already implemented an intense program of support for individuals with disabilities and children. Most recently, five electric wheelchairs were delivered to those in need, thanks to a generous donation from the Yıldırım family. The handover ceremony was attended by Yılmaz Morgül, our president Menekşe Kankavi, Secretary General Arif Işık, Head of Disability Affairs Hasan Polat, and other board members.
Those receiving the wheelchairs expressed deep gratitude, creating emotional moments. President Menekşe Kankavi said, “I sincerely thank Yılmaz Morgül and all our members for taking the time to attend despite the intense heat.”
Founding member Yılmaz Morgül added, “While most are on vacation, we are continuing our mission of kindness in desert-like heat with our esteemed president Menekşe Kankavi. I would like to become the minister responsible for people with disabilities.”
Our board members, who spent a day full of compassion, will continue to support individuals with disabilities!
